Beyond nurturing our membership, Ambassadors champion the Chamber’s impact in the wider community, visiting non-member businesses and showing them why joining matters. I'm honored to be a part of the Algonquin/Lake in the Hills Chamber Board of Directors and to serve community members.

What really gets me excited is not just building websites but helping businesses achieve their online goals. I enjoy working on a variety of projects from large business sites to small brochure and organization sites. When I’m not working I enjoy family, grandchildren, BBQ, “lake time” and Chicago sports.

Paul Nelis is the President and CEO of CMIT Solutions Chicago Northwest, serving portions of Lake, McHenry and Kane Counties. With more than 35 years of experience in IT there are very few things Paul has not done in IT. From multi-million dollar web applications to managing allstatetermlife.com to helping design the world’s largest SAP instance, from cloud-based workflow solutions in medicine, and state government, to training systems for McDonald’s, or the first data center for hedge-fund Citadel Investment Group, Paul’s illustrated that there aren’t many IT challenges he can’t meet. Having recently spent time as a CIO for Akumin, a $750 million diagnostic imaging company, he decided to make a difference for entrepreneurs closer to home.
