Algonquin/Lake in the Hills Chamber of Commerce Donates “Putt for a Cause” Proceeds to Veterans Path to Hope

The Algonquin/Lake in the Hills Chamber of Commerce presented Veterans Path to Hope a donation of $2,500 from the "Putt for a Cause" fundraiser at the Annual Golf Outing which took place on June 3.
The Annual Golf Outing is a cornerstone event for the Chamber, gathering local business leaders, entrepreneurs, and community members for a day of networking and friendly competition, all while supporting a meaningful cause.
"We are thrilled to support Veterans Path to Hope with proceeds from our 'Putt for a Cause' fundraiser." said Greg Urban, Executive Director of the Algonquin/Lake in the Hills Chamber of Commerce. "We hope these funds further support our veterans who are in need throughout our entire community."
What is “Putt for a Cause”:
The "Putt for a Cause" allows golfers to donate for a chance at a special prize, everyone hits at the same time and the first to sink a putt wins. All proceeds from the fundraiser benefit Veterans Path to Hope and its mission to improve the lives of veterans through programs focused on mental health, employment assistance, housing support, and more.
