The Algonquin/Lake in the Hills Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce that Veterans Path to Hope has been chosen as the recipient of the "Putt for a Cause" fundraiser at the upcoming Annual Golf Outing on June 3, 2024, hosted at the prestigious Boulder Ridge Country Club.
The Annual Golf Outing is a cornerstone event for the Chamber, gathering local business leaders, entrepreneurs, and community members for a day of networking and friendly competition, all while supporting a meaningful cause. This year, the Chamber is thrilled to partner with Veterans Path to Hope, an organization dedicated to providing essential support services to veterans and their families.
"Selecting Veterans Path to Hope as the beneficiary of our 'Putt for a Cause' aligns perfectly with our commitment to supporting our local non-profit organizations," said Greg Urban, Executive Director of the Algonquin/Lake in the Hills Chamber of Commerce. The "Putt for a Cause" allows all the golfers to donate for a special prize, everyone hits at the same time and the first to sink a putt wins. All proceeds from the fundraiser will directly benefit Veterans Path to Hope and its mission to improve the lives of veterans through programs focused on mental health, employment assistance, housing support, and more.
