Jacobs High School "Business Student of the Month" Announced

The Jacobs High School Business Department and the Algonquin/Lake in the Hills Chamber Foundation proudly congratulate Ethan Van Hoeven on being selected as the Business Student of the Month.

Ethan is an outstanding member of the Jacobs High School Internship Program. He currently has an A in the class, with no missing assignments, unexcused absences, or tardies. The program requires students to complete a minimum of 60 internship hours over the course of the semester, but Ethan has far exceeded expectations, logging over 160 hours while gaining valuable hands-on experience in audio and video production at Waysound Recording Studio.

His internship supervisor praised him in his midterm evaluation, describing him as a hard worker who shows genuine enthusiasm for every task, whether observing, assisting, or leading a mixing project. His professionalism, work ethic, and eagerness to learn make him an exemplary representative of both the internship program and the business department.

To recognize his achievement, Ethan received a $50 gift card to Lou Malnati's, courtesy of the Algonquin/Lake in the Hills Chamber Foundation.
