Several excerpts from my book:

Chapter 2; MAKE YOUR DAY
Approach each day as though you are the ruler, the king, the queen, determining what will be and what won't be. Determine your schedule for the day. Even when there are others who are rightly dependent on you and need your attention, such as your children, your partner, your workmates; you determine the timing and attitude with which you will fulfill your responsibilities.

CHAPTER 6; SHARE
We either share or we hoard...One cannot go through life like a ballplayer with a catcher’s mitt on both hands. Give of your time, your talent, your treasure.

CHAPTER 9; IT'S ALL ABOUT PERSPECTIVE
We are in control of our perspective. Use it to grow. Do not use it to be bitter, resentful, angry, fearful, and the like. Use it to see possibilities. The only reality that matters is one's perspective.

CHAPTER 10; NO EXCUSES, STOP COMPLAINING
No excuse that places responsibility for our life on someone else is good enough. It's our responsibility to determine what is ours to do to make it as right as we can make it. We must give up blaming, give up thinking that our present state of mind is “their” fault. It's our fault. It's up to us to make our lives the best we can. We change what we can change and adjust to what we cannot.

CHAPTER 11; LET GO OF GUILT
There's healthy guilt, and there's unhealthy guilt. When I say, “Let Go of Guilt,” I mean the unhealthy kind.
