Event Description:
After years of youth tobacco use being on the decline, the last few years have brought a sudden and significant rise in tobacco use through vaping. In addition to health concerns, the CDC found 1 in 3 students who choose to vape, are vaping cannabis. Join us Thurs., April 11 at 7 p.m. to hear Laura Crain from the McHenry County Substance Abuse Coalition present on "The Dangers of Vaping". This presentation will provide you with the most up-to-date and in-depth information about vaping, health concerns, prevention methods, as well as the marketing techniques and strategies used to hook your teen. Vaping devices and products will be available for viewing.
