This individual is the vital link to customer experience and satisfaction. They are the “Hair Traffic Controller” to all guests and manage the entire process before, during, and after our guest’s service experience. The “Hair Traffic Controller” is committed to serving our guests with additional products and services to ensure that all of their needs are met. Reporting Relationship
Reports to the Guest Services Lead and Salon Director
Specific Responsibilities
  • Exceeds guests’ expectations—Daily
  • Daily task list completed and communicate opportunities and findings from these activities. Participates in one off activities and tasks assigned on an as need basis.
  • Actively attends and participates in quarterly personal development education programs and/or events
  • Book appointments based on service time standards.
  • Participates as a retail champion ensuring complete knowledge of all retail product offerings and ensures proper stock levels are on display.
  • Answer incoming calls utilizing the opening script in a timely manner, confirming appointments and answering guest inquiries.
  • Communicate all promotional programs for services and retail by demonstrating in-depth knowledge of salon promotions.
  • Employ effective selling skills to promote add on services, gift certificate sales, and retail recommendations.
  • Facilitate outstanding customer service to enhance the guest experience. Resolving guest challenges, utilizing support from salon leadership when necessary.
  • Support Hair Artists by managing schedules, utilizing waitlists where appropriate and accommodating guests.
  • Ensure accurate and consistent maintenance of guest records.
  • Perform general duties as assigned by management in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Keep guest services and retail area clean and organized at all times within company established standards.
  • Responsible for meeting and achieving company sales goals.
  • Actively participate in the promotion of bii services and products, daily huddles and staff meetings
  • Responsible for opening and closing procedures, following bii protocols and manage update of the daily huddle binder and side work documents.
Skills: Computer, communication, client relations/customer service, cash handling, “can-do” attitude, positive and courteous
Time: Customer “FIRST” focus. Open availability to work varying shifts including nights, weekend and holidays.
