Event Description:

Please join the Lake in the Hills Police Department as we present a FREE three-week program that addresses current obstacles and challenges that teens face in today’s society. Topics include: alcohol and drug effects, vaping, sexual assault and stalking, social media safety, dating violence, bullying, peer pressure, suicide prevention and more. 

Open to males and females; must be between ages 12-16 (sensitive material). Space is limited, and pre-registration is required. Priority registration will be given to Lake in the Hills residents; non-residents also welcome. 

Location:
All sessions will be held at the Irv Floress Safety Education Center (1109 Crystal Lake Road).

  • Wednesday, April 1st* from 6:30 - 9:00 p.m.

**The first session on April 1st will include an informational parent/guardian meeting from 6:35pm-8pm at the police station (1115 Crystal Lake Rd). Please be sure to drop off your teen at the Irv Floress Safety Education Center (1109 Crystal Lake Rd) prior to the start of the parent/guardian meeting. The Irv Floress Safety Education Center is the building just south of the police station with the mini "Safety Town" buildings behind it.**
