This fall, we are offering a FREE training program for the Lake in the Hills area (also open to non-residents) known as Civilian Response to Active Shooter Events (CRASE). It is intended to teach individuals how to prepare, prevent and react during an active shooter event in a variety of workplace and gathering environments. This new, two-hour course is offered monthly from August through November at the Safety Education Center (1109 Crystal Lake Rd., LITH). This a great opportunity that we would like to extend to local business owners and their employees.
Please note that space is limited, and pre-registration is required. Once completed, registration forms can be emailed to
communityrelations@lith.org.
